The month of July 2014 will start in the crescent moon, which
becomes a full moon Saturday, 12. From this date onwards, almost
until the next new moon (Sunday 27th) we will be able to carry out
sowing and transplantation should be made that in the waning moon. From
the 28th falls on a crescent moon, until August 10, 2014 |
From this month, to meet the demands of
many people living in the southern hemisphere of
the world (Australia, South America, South Africa, etc.). Publish a
schedule for sowing relative to that part of the planet, where the
seasons are different. The phases of the moon, however, are the same

In July, ending the possibility, for some
vegetables in a long cycle of sowing do but still possible to
transplant especially in areas with mild winters. There are also
many vegetable alternative to the more common ones, with which we
can fill the garden to the delight of the eyes of the board.
Speaking of vegetables where it is still possible, but with caution,
the transplant, I am referring in particular to peppers, eggplant,
tomatoes and pumpkins. Now transplanting the seedlings purchased at
flea markets or specialty stores you can have a harvest in September,
also extended until December for tomatoes and peppers; Needless to
say, you are betting on a good season long, because in fact only a
short enough period of unfavorable temperatures for the plants put
out of production.. |

July is a great time for planting
cabbages |
Vegetables tastier There is a
technique that consists in suspending irrigation a few days before
harvest to get the sweetest watermelons and melons, or hottest
peppers. In general all the vegetables (not the leaf) can benefit
from an improvement in quality, but when it comes to vegetables
collection scalar, such as tomatoes, reduced irrigation for tomatoes
tastier affect the growth of the small ones that are forming. |

This
book takes into consideration some scientific data, such
as the germination time and temperature, as well as a
given that comes by the millenary tradition, that of the
lunar influence. The synergy of these information
derives the calculation of the best days of planting
each vegetable.
This book finally makes
clarity on the use of phases of the moon in the
cultivation of the garden, in particular on sowing
periods.
After the explanation of
how, why and when the moon influences, these data are
used as a reference to calculate with accuracy at the
days more favorable sowing of each vegetable.

This
book will give you the best advice for sowing,
cultivation and collection of tasty vegetables for the
joy of your table. In a series of data tables, are
revealed the essential characteristics of each
vegetable, which are necessary to determine the success
of its growth
The
vegetable garden, an old hobby that back current. Today
it is an economic resource to be not to despise, but
many grow the garden for several reasons: as an antidote
to a life too sedentary, or as joy to participate in the
cycles of nature. So you create small screw, which are
in no way lower, even if they are only plants. The
plants respond visually to your attention, even on your
closeness and your eyes. Finally, one cultivates a
vegetable garden for a philosophical choice of life
that refuses to consumerism, that purchases of articles
ready and packaged. The “homo faber” returns this, and
continue to use his hands, his intelligence and his
heart.
Despite
this, the techniques remain the same. The seeds should
be treated the same way, the soil must be worked with
the same care; ultimately the mystery of life continues
to be repeated as always in our small garden. Modern
technology has introduced the chemistry, that the real
grower shuns. Finally, a manual on growing written by a
true hobbyst. When they were still walking, more than
half a century ago, the author accompanied the father in
the small family vegetable garden and he learned the
little tricks and secrets ancient in this art.
Today
cultivate a garden no longer means more resourceful to
survive, but rather choose a new style of life.

SOUTHERN
HEMISPHERE
(Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, South
America, etc.). |
This part is related to the second sowing seasons NORTHERN

For
sowing in the northern hemisphere top |
There are very few possible sowing
outdoors in the month of July, you can count on one hand especially
for colder areas. Of course, if the soil seed is not directly
exposed to the frosts. Also in these conditions is possible to
transplant some seedlings already planted in November-December and
therefore already grown. In the hothouse instead are still plenty of
sowing and transplantation possible, especially for summer
vegetables from the first fruits. And 'this is the month in which,
in addition to peppers that have a longer cycle already sown in
December, you can start sowing tomatoes, eggplant and zucchini that
you can continue.
The latter should be grown throughout the
cycle in warm greenhouse, and the seedlings of peppers, tomatoes and
eggplant can also be planted outdoors from March to warmer areas.
The table published in this post takes into account all these
differences. By consulting notice how in the colder areas, you can
not sow or transplant outdoors practically nothing, while in the
more temperate areas sown possible to protect or even outdoors are
still many. Before the table present some introductory notes on the
areas and temperatures like the different flowers. |

Tomatoes can be sown in a warm
greenhouse in July, crescent moon, possibly for transplantation from
September
|
Minimum temperature for germination and
growth media Finding more timely sowing dates
is given by the observation of the local temperature, within the
period specified by the preferred cultivation. Each vegetable has a
minimum temperature of germination, under which the plant is not
born (and often even above). So before making a sowing observe the
temperature PEAK in your area, that is the highest, usually in the
afternoon, and compare it with those indicated in the table below.
Similarly to grow each plant needs a temperature different from that
of germination we call GROWTH AVERAGE TEMPERATURE. This is due to a
reasonable average between the minimum and the maximum nocturnal day.
It 'obvious that these two must not show peaks as zero degrees or
forty degrees, in these cases, the average is not obtainable. That
is, the interval between the minimum and maximum must be reasonable. |

of okra. Needs of growing in temperate zones: watering,
fertilizing, mulching, exfoliation, tucks, clearing
weeds, pruning, supports. As you sow: preparation of the
